There are many simple things you can do to stay healthy and prevent getting sick. One of these things is to know when you and your family should see the doctor and schedule regular checkups.

Babies and Children

Babies and children grow quickly. A well-child visit helps your child stay healthy. A well-child checkup also gives you a chance to ask your doctor questions. The Early and Periodic Screening Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) program is a program of health services to help your child grow up healthy. This service is available to all members under 21 years of age. Regular visits to the doctor and the dentist are necessary to find problems early and start treatment right away.

Prenatal Care

Prenatal care is the health care that you get during your pregnancy from a specially trained health care provider, Obstetrician (OB) doctor, or certified nurse-midwife. Early and regular prenatal care during your pregnancy is important for the health of you and your unborn baby.
